Regional Coastal Monitoring Database
The regional data collection and processing plan includes establishment of four coastal quadrants or regions within the U.S. where physical data is to be collected annually on a cyclical, recurring schedule as shown in the figure below. Data available are high-resolution, true color aerial photos for coastal areas of North Atlantic, South Atlantic, Southwest Gulf, and Northwest Gulf. This internet mapping site is provided to facilitate access to and viewing of this data. Additionally, following hurricanes, post-storm videography and/or photography are collected and are made available via this site. Provided by FDEP.
